Omegavie®​ Algae is a sustainable, vegetarian algal Omega-3 DHA made in France: Fish-free and derived from Schizochytrium sp. microalgae grown, fermented and extracted in Europe in a controlled environment, EPA & DHA are strictly the same molecules whether in fish oils or microalgae oils. The health benefits are therefore the same, but a very important point is that oily fish do not stock EPA and DHA, they get it from phytoplankton, from microalgae that they themselves eat.
